One of the many reasons I love Pinterest is because you can see a ton a wonderful ideas without spending a bazillion hours searching the web, like this super cool penny floor. The folks over at Revolver installed about 340,000 pennies by hand, talk about some tedious labor, but man does it look cool. It is things like this that make me want to become a home owner. I can imagine this as the floor in a small bathroom, or even a kitchen. However I soon realize that being a home owner comes with tons of other stuff and so I write out another rent check and go along my merry little way.
P.S. I have to wonder if this floor smells funny, like a jar of loose change.
I am slowly getting back into shape, and when I say slowly I mean S-L-O-W-L-Y. I am working on the Couch to 5k program and everyday I make a little more progress which is encouraging. I did realize that my current running shoes were not being very nice to me so I headed out and purchased the Nike Free Run. They are suppose to feel as though you are running in your bare feet (which I guess is a good thing) and they are super light. I am hoping they magically make running easier, or at least make my feet happy.
I have decided to spend my weekend catching up with all my blogging friends curled up on the sofa in my pj's, to bad it is only Tuesday.
P.S. Pretty sure if I tried to pull of the sandal and socks look while picking up my daughter from school I would get some strange glances. I am convinced that only certain people can pull it off and I AM NOT one of those people.
I recently pinned this gem on my Pinterest, and I REALLY REALLY would love to snatch one up for myself. You can check out the Stamp Rug here, and they have lots of other bright colors. No price is listed on the site which is usually not a good sign. Sigh, back to dreaming and pinning.
Love these images of toy figurines and catchy phrases by London designer Aled Lewis. I came across his Tumblr site while procrastinating this weekend. Isn't Tumblr great for that?!?!
Also can I just say how beyond thrilled I am that this is my last week of classes before I take the summer off!! Time to get back to the important things, like blogging, especially since I have officially crowned myself the worst blogger in all the land.
